3 Reasons You Shouldn't Quit!

This blog post comes from an email I sent to my subscribers list in June. If you want more content like this, then be sure to subscribe to my email list here.

This month I want to encourage you not to give up...

Whether you're a competitive athlete or simply looking to keep fit, there's almost guaranteed to come to a point in your journey where you're just not seeing the results you want to see (and feel like calling it quits)

But have you ever seen that meme (see below) where a man is digging for diamonds and gives up when he is literally just one more strike away?

Sometimes in life, it really does feel like you've been digging for such a long time, building for months, even years, watering and doing all the right things but STILL not seeing the results (side note: I've got a new children's book coming out soon about this very topic! You can sign up HERE for more information about it)...

...but in this email, I want to give you three reasons why you should keep taking steps forward toward your dreams/goals despite the time that may have passed:

1- You're still passionate

If you're still passionate about what you do, or the goal you're trying to reach, then I encourage you to keep pressing forward. If you quit, then you're 100% GUARANTEED to not reach your goal, and will always have that painful regret of shoulda coulda woulda. On the other hand, not quitting at least gives you the possibility of reaching your desired end. If you're still passionate, then no matter how much time has passed, find new angles to approach things from, take breaks when needed but continue to make the changes necessary to help you inch that little bit closer to your diamonds.

2 - You're still seeing signs of progression

Progression is progression. Even if you're not at the BIG goal (yet), if you're seeing some things, any-thing, improve, take it as a sign that you're moving forward. Whether it's mindset, physical strength, stamina, flexibility, even organisation of your life or how you recover... any progression is still progression, and as long as you're progressing it's enough reason to keep moving forward!

3 - You've got a word from God

Now, I understand not everyone on this list believes in God, but if you're a believer, then you know what I'm talking about... if you've got a word, then despite your circumstances and despite not having any of the first 2 points I mentioned, you can stand firm knowing that HE is faithful and in DUE SEASON, that word will come to pass.

I truly hope you were able to get at least one thing out of today's email.

If you follow me on YouTube or Instagram then you'll know that indoors, I was able to run times I haven't run in 6 years! And so far this outdoor season, I'm running the fastest I have in 12 YEARS! So, if I can do it, then you can too... but you can't give up!🤗

As always, I love hearing from you guys whether you reply to this email or leave a comment on YouTube.

Yours in track,
